# HUM Rideshare vs YAV Connect

The clearest difference is rating: YAV Connect at 5.0 against HUM Rideshare's 4.2. YAV Connect also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). HUM Rideshare's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YAV Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 52 and 147 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of HUM Rideshare's written reviews are positive against 67% of YAV Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HUM Rideshare ships an update every 2 months, YAV Connect monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
