# Wiley Reader vs Labyrinth Library

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wiley Reader at 1.1K against Labyrinth Library's 35. Wiley Reader also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wiley Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wiley Reader has 1.1K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wiley Reader ships an update every 5 weeks, Labyrinth Library every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
