# Wiley Reader vs NMT techConnect

The clearest difference is rating: Wiley Reader at 4.8 against NMT techConnect's 3.0. Wiley Reader also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wiley Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wiley Reader has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Wiley Reader's written reviews are positive against 50% of NMT techConnect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wiley Reader ships an update every 5 weeks, NMT techConnect monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
