# Zolvy vs Sparklets

The clearest difference is monetization model: Zolvy at freemium against Sparklets's subscription. Zolvy also leads on ratings volume (29 vs 1). Sparklets's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zolvy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and Sparklets sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $119.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sparklets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zolvy has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zolvy ships an update every 11 days, Sparklets every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
