# Cry Watch vs HODL Time

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cry Watch at none against HODL Time's 3. Cry Watch also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). HODL Time's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HODL Time sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Cry Watch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cry Watch ships an update every 6 months, HODL Time every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
