# eRing vs Final Fantasy Map

The clearest difference is rating: Final Fantasy Map at 4.3 against eRing's 1.0. Final Fantasy Map also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). eRing's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eRing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Final Fantasy Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Final Fantasy Map holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Final Fantasy Map has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

eRing ships an update every 9 days, Final Fantasy Map every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
