# Today Notes vs Notable

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notable at none against Today Notes's 3. Notable also leads on ratings volume (50 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). Today Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Today Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Notable asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Today Notes against 5.0 for Notable. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notable has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Today Notes ships an update every 3 days, Notable weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
