# Astara vs I Ching AI

The clearest difference is rating: Astara at 4.6 against I Ching AI's 4.0. Astara also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). I Ching AI's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astara sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and I Ching AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astara holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astara has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Astara ships an update every 2 weeks, I Ching AI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
