# Velora vs Micro Widget

The clearest difference is update cadence: Velora at fortnightly against Micro Widget's every 6 weeks. Micro Widget's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Velora sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Micro Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Velora against 5.0 for Micro Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Micro Widget has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Velora ships an update fortnightly, Micro Widget every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
