# CozyRead vs TopStories

The clearest difference is rating: TopStories at 4.8 against CozyRead's 4.6. TopStories also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). CozyRead's advantage is ratings volume (198 vs 45). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CozyRead sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and TopStories sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TopStories holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 198 and 45 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of CozyRead's written reviews are positive against 88% of TopStories's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
