# Dungero vs Survanoid

Dungero and Survanoid both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Survanoid's written reviews are positive against 54% of Dungero's. Survanoid also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Dungero's advantage is ratings volume (127 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dungero sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Survanoid sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Dungero against 4.7 for Survanoid. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dungero has 127 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Dungero's written reviews are positive against 100% of Survanoid's.

Dungero ships an update every 3 weeks, Survanoid every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
