# VIVRI Challenge vs Commando Studio

The clearest difference is rating: Commando Studio at 4.9 against VIVRI Challenge's 1.0. Commando Studio also leads on ratings volume (70 vs 4). VIVRI Challenge's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Commando Studio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Commando Studio has 70 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VIVRI Challenge ships an update every 2 weeks, Commando Studio every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
