# My Diary vs NinoPad

The clearest difference is ads: NinoPad at none against My Diary's shown. NinoPad also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). My Diary's advantage is ratings volume (134 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Diary sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and NinoPad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NinoPad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Diary has 134 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

My Diary ships an update every 8 days, NinoPad every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
