# The Snow Clock vs Retro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Retro at weekly against The Snow Clock's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Snow Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Retro sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Snow Clock ships an update monthly, Retro weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
