# Sidos vs DeviceFX NFC

The clearest difference is rating: Sidos at 5.0 against DeviceFX NFC's 1.0. Sidos also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). DeviceFX NFC's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sidos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sidos has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sidos ships an update every 4 weeks, DeviceFX NFC every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
