# C vs FiberX

The clearest difference is update cadence: FiberX at weekly against C's every 9 months. FiberX also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.7). C's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and review sentiment (67% vs 58%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FiberX holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 31 and 51 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of C's written reviews are positive against 58% of FiberX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

C ships an update every 9 months, FiberX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
