# TapTap vs Panda Touch Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Panda Touch Pro at none against TapTap's 6. Panda Touch Pro also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 52%). TapTap's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TapTap sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Panda Touch Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

TapTap holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TapTap has 10K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of TapTap's written reviews are positive against 63% of Panda Touch Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TapTap ships an update every 11 days, Panda Touch Pro every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
