# AllMyBatteries vs Depth

The clearest difference is rating: Depth at 5.0 against AllMyBatteries's 4.5. Depth also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). AllMyBatteries's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AllMyBatteries sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Depth asks for nothing beyond the download.

Depth holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllMyBatteries has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AllMyBatteries ships an update every 3 weeks, Depth every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
