# EngageSC vs SWE Events

EngageSC and SWE Events both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 25% of SWE Events's written reviews are positive against 0% of EngageSC's. SWE Events also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.4). EngageSC's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EngageSC holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 218 and 134 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of EngageSC's written reviews are positive against 25% of SWE Events's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
