# KY UFO vs U

The clearest difference is rating: U at 4.1 against KY UFO's 2.6. KY UFO's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

U holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 217 and 543 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of KY UFO's written reviews are positive against 15% of U's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KY UFO ships an update monthly, U fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
