# ColBlue vs Switch

The clearest difference is rating: Switch at 3.9 against ColBlue's 1.0. Switch also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 1) and update cadence (every 12 months vs every 26 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Switch holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Switch has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ColBlue ships an update every 26 months, Switch every 12 months. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
