# TrackiPet vs Optimus Tracking Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Optimus Tracking Pro at 4.3 against TrackiPet's 2.7. Optimus Tracking Pro also leads on ratings volume (269 vs 17). TrackiPet's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 27%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optimus Tracking Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optimus Tracking Pro has 269 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of TrackiPet's written reviews are positive against 27% of Optimus Tracking Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TrackiPet ships an update monthly, Optimus Tracking Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
