# Skillset vs Citycom

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Skillset at 100% against Citycom's 0%. Skillset also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Citycom's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Citycom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Skillset's written reviews are positive against 0% of Citycom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
