# FluentJoy vs Langaj

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Langaj at none against FluentJoy's 24. Langaj also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 69%). FluentJoy's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FluentJoy sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Langaj asks for nothing beyond the download.

FluentJoy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FluentJoy has 6.5K ratings behind it against 911, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of FluentJoy's written reviews are positive against 94% of Langaj's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FluentJoy ships an update weekly, Langaj every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
