# Lemoon vs ReadManga

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ReadManga at 80% against Lemoon's 33%. ReadManga also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (154 vs 13). Lemoon's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lemoon sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and ReadManga sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.89 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReadManga holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReadManga has 154 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Lemoon's written reviews are positive against 80% of ReadManga's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
