# Hoops Training vs VHS Grades

The clearest difference is ads: VHS Grades at none against Hoops Training's shown. VHS Grades also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Hoops Training's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hoops Training sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $10.49 per month and VHS Grades sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Hoops Training against 5.0 for VHS Grades. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VHS Grades has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
