# KKenglish vs Oki

The clearest difference is rating: KKenglish at 5.0 against Oki's 4.4. KKenglish also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Oki's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (390 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KKenglish sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and Oki sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KKenglish holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oki has 390 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of KKenglish's written reviews are positive against 64% of Oki's.

KKenglish ships an update monthly, Oki every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
