# Rowr vs easyChef Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rowr at none against easyChef Pro's 3. easyChef Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. easyChef Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Rowr asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rowr against 5.0 for easyChef Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: easyChef Pro has 42 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Rowr ships an update every 3 months, easyChef Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
