# Ruby Rewards vs Sous

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sous at every 3 days against Ruby Rewards's every 10 months. Ruby Rewards's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sous holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ruby Rewards has 36K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ruby Rewards ships an update every 10 months, Sous every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
