# Bluetouch™ vs Tracepad

The clearest difference is rating: Tracepad at 4.3 against Bluetouch™'s 3.6. Tracepad also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Bluetouch™'s advantage is ratings volume (169 vs 16). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluetouch™ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tracepad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tracepad holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bluetouch™ has 169 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Bluetouch™'s written reviews are positive against 69% of Tracepad's.

Bluetouch™ ships an update every 2 weeks, Tracepad every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
