# Bluetouch™ vs btkbd

The clearest difference is ads: btkbd at none against Bluetouch™'s shown. btkbd also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Bluetouch™'s advantage is ratings volume (168 vs 13). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluetouch™ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and btkbd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

btkbd holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bluetouch™ has 168 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Bluetouch™'s written reviews are positive against 71% of btkbd's.

Bluetouch™ ships an update every 2 weeks, btkbd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
