# X vs ASTC

The clearest difference is rating: ASTC at 4.7 against X's 1.3. ASTC also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (36 vs 3). X's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. ASTC asks for nothing beyond the download.

ASTC holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASTC has 36 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

X ships an update every 3 months, ASTC every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
