# Narrator vs Plotika

The clearest difference is ads: Narrator at none against Plotika's shown. Plotika's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Narrator sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Plotika sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Narrator ships an update every 5 weeks, Plotika every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
