# Basic vs Verbos +

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Basic at 12.0 against Verbos +'s 17.2. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Basic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Verbos + sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Basic ships an update every 2 months, Verbos + monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
