# Mindpastor vs Sprout

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mindpastor at every 3 weeks against Sprout's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindpastor sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Sprout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindpastor ships an update every 3 weeks, Sprout every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
