# HexaNest vs Tangram

The clearest difference is rating: HexaNest at 5.0 against Tangram's 4.0. HexaNest also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Tangram's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HexaNest sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Tangram sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HexaNest ships an update every 3 months, Tangram monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
