# My Calendar vs SimpleShift

The clearest difference is update cadence: My Calendar at every 2 weeks against SimpleShift's every 3 months. SimpleShift's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Calendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SimpleShift sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Calendar ships an update every 2 weeks, SimpleShift every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
