# My Calendar vs Easy Work Shift

The clearest difference is rating: My Calendar at 4.9 against Easy Work Shift's 3.5. My Calendar also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (58 vs 8). Easy Work Shift's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Calendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Easy Work Shift sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Calendar has 58 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of My Calendar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Easy Work Shift's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Calendar ships an update every 2 weeks, Easy Work Shift every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
