# My Calendar vs Shift Calendar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shift Calendar at every 2 days against My Calendar's every 2 weeks. My Calendar's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Calendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Shift Calendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for My Calendar against 5.0 for Shift Calendar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Calendar has 66 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

My Calendar ships an update every 2 weeks, Shift Calendar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
