# Fitmint vs RUNNER

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RUNNER at 100% against Fitmint's 53%. Fitmint's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (75 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitmint sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and RUNNER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fitmint holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitmint has 75 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Fitmint's written reviews are positive against 100% of RUNNER's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fitmint ships an update every 2 weeks, RUNNER every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
