# Fitmint vs STEPN GO

The clearest difference is rating: STEPN GO at 4.7 against Fitmint's 4.1. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitmint sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and STEPN GO sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

STEPN GO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 75 and 133 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Fitmint's written reviews are positive against 51% of STEPN GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fitmint ships an update every 2 weeks, STEPN GO fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
