# IQ Test vs TierMaker.com

The clearest difference is rating: IQ Test at 5.0 against TierMaker.com's 4.2. IQ Test also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). TierMaker.com's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IQ Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TierMaker.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Test holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TierMaker.com has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of IQ Test's written reviews are positive against 8% of TierMaker.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IQ Test ships an update monthly, TierMaker.com weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
