# AROMS vs OSFC

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OSFC at none against AROMS's 2. AROMS's advantage is ratings volume (41 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AROMS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. OSFC asks for nothing beyond the download.

OSFC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AROMS has 41 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AROMS ships an update weekly, OSFC every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
