# Ever Journal vs 明健

Ever Journal and 明健 are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Ever Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $18.99 per year and 明健 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ever Journal ships an update every 4 weeks, 明健 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
