# Ridwell vs Sweep Salons

The clearest difference is ads: Sweep Salons at none against Ridwell's shown. Sweep Salons also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Ridwell's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ridwell against 5.0 for Sweep Salons. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ridwell has 8.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ridwell ships an update every 2 months, Sweep Salons every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
