# Ridwell vs Brave Trails

The clearest difference is ads: Brave Trails at none against Ridwell's shown. Brave Trails also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Ridwell's advantage is ratings volume (8.9K vs 13). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ridwell against 4.9 for Brave Trails. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ridwell has 8.9K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
