# Ridwell vs Honey Homes

The clearest difference is ads: Honey Homes at none against Ridwell's shown. Honey Homes also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Ridwell's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 253). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ridwell against 4.8 for Honey Homes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ridwell has 9K ratings behind it against 253, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Ridwell's written reviews are positive against 75% of Honey Homes's.

Ridwell ships an update every 2 months, Honey Homes every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
