# Ridwell vs Doggle

The clearest difference is ads: Doggle at none against Ridwell's shown. Doggle also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Ridwell's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ridwell against 5.0 for Doggle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ridwell has 9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
