# Physiopedia Plus vs IELTS Prep App

The clearest difference is rating: IELTS Prep App at 4.7 against Physiopedia Plus's 4.0. IELTS Prep App also leads on ratings volume (710 vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Physiopedia Plus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Physiopedia Plus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $34.99 per month and IELTS Prep App sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IELTS Prep App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IELTS Prep App has 710 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Physiopedia Plus's written reviews are positive against 77% of IELTS Prep App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Physiopedia Plus ships an update every 2 months, IELTS Prep App every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
