# AlphaSentry vs Relic Hound

The clearest difference is rating: Relic Hound at 5.0 against AlphaSentry's 4.2. AlphaSentry's advantage is ratings volume (98 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlphaSentry sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Relic Hound sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Relic Hound holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlphaSentry has 98 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
